They can get pretty noisy in the randy season; otherwise I find them like doors with a very short, quiet creak. Marinate in white wine & lots of cut garlic for 24h in the fridge, then bake or pan-fry, using some of the marinade (diluted) to cook them in. Yum!
i really enjoy Guinea Fowl, until they start to serenade you!
