Bottom: One of the village's churches.
Middle: The school where I plan to teach English this winter, starting in early November if my Georgian visa comes through.
Top: Lamaria Church and Mt Shkhara at the top of the village. Every day new weather, new light to show off the familiar in new ways.

    It sure is. There's so much variety in the landscape for such a little country. From being on the Black Sea coast with subtropical climate, tea plantations, water buffalo, terraced fields and bamboo, drive 3 hours and you're among snow-topped 5000-m peaks and thousand-year-old watchtowers, high in the Caucasus. Magnificent, and I never tire of it.
