Sherborne, Dorset, UK, January 2010

New job: part-time chef (among other things) at a nursing home in Sherborne). First time I've had the proper uniform!

A couple of shots from the UK's Big Freeze of earlier in January. Not much snow if you're used to it, but if you're not, a whole new world in both good and bad ways

    Gordon Ramsay had better watch out! So glad to hear about the job - perfect for someone who has always approached food with so much care and respect.

    Thanks... I've discovered that you can puree ANY meal in the blender if you just add a bit of water! (Not that everyone in the home has puree, though, merely an observation...) Plus I've baked my 1st ever sponge cake - what took me so long?!
