Love the ducks! I have been bugging my dearly beloved to get chickens for the garden, but he's not having it! Our little town is duckville central, as we have a rather nice, but small river running through it. In duckling time, traffic regularly has to screech to a halt as momma saunters across the main road with her brood. It was estimated once that we had over 1000 mallards in our town of 13,000 people. Not a bad ratio.
